Jerry C asked: I have an 06 F250 with a 6.0 L diesel and don’t get much fuel economy. I don’t want to put a chip in it because I don’t think it wil;l help the fuel economy and may void the warranty.

69Rambler asked: As my car gets past 100K miles I am noticing that it is starting to get poor fuel economy. It’s all tuned up, air in the tires, and oil-changed, so why is performance suffering?

Adel asked: My car has pretty bad alignment after I got into an accident – it was hydroplaning and I hit my rear passenger rim. It got bent pretty bad but I had it fixed. But I now have bad alignment, pretty bad alignment actually. How much does that cut from fuel economy?

God’sStrength asked: I always hear talk about people with manual transmissions save more gas than people with automatic cars. I have the old school manual. Not this new stuff where there is no clutch. I have a clutch on mine the old school stick shift. Anyway, I’ve been trying to save gas. Do I burn more gas in a higher gear or a lower gear. Where should I keep the RPM’s when I’m driving in the higher or lower gear at that as well? Example. It redlines at 9000 RPMS. I’m trying to save gas. Should I have it halfway driving in that particular gear, and should I be driving in a high or low gear so I don’t burn as much gas?
